Advantages and disadvantages of educational technology.

Technology in schools all around the world.

Technology is everywhere, the majority of people around the world have a mobile phone, a tablet or a computer. Nowadays, they need these devices to be in touch with other people or maybe to use in their jobs. In first world countries technology plays a very important role in the schools while in third world countries these resources generally mean something bad. So, the fact that these gadgets are in all places imply a big sinnumer of advantages and disadvantages.
In the first place, there is no doubt that technology is a relevant resource in schools today. In Finland, for example, there is no desks because professors think that they are not necessary and the absence of them promote motivation and creativity. In addition, third world countries show people how effective are current devices. They take advantages of the good management of the cell phone by children and teach others uses of the gadgets like video editors, communications with others experts through internet, different softwares, etc.
In the other place, in third world countries technological devices can be considerate like a big disadvantage. Most of them say that trendy gadgets are a distractor and a waste of time. They think that attentiveness drops drastically in the classroom when students have their cell phones or other kind of technology. Another disadvantage is the lack of control, the access to inappropriate content, the biggest concern it comes to the use of technology in schools and how easy is find pornography, violence and other unsuitable materials. This could cause big problems if the materials are shared with other students while they are in the classroom.
There are clearly both pros and cons of people technology use. It is important for them to learn and understand how to use the technology because it´s become part of their daily lifes. Furthermore, technology use must not be excessive, it is important for users of technology to understand that yes, technology is an amazing thing, but at the same time it should not be used all the time.

  1. Hello girls!!
I really liked the general idea of the essay, it was very interesting and I enjoyed it, but I noticed some mistakes, for example with the use of plural form of some words:It would be better: "cell phones", instead of "cell phone", because of the context.
    *"other" intead of "others".
*"lives" is the correct plural form of the word "life", you wrote:"part of their daily lifes".
*you must avoid using contractions like: "it's become".
*I think it would be better "on the other hand" intead of "in the other place" when you introduce the paragraph of disadvantages.
*you have to look for more synonyms of the words in order to avoid repetition:you repeat "third world countries", "technology", "devices" several times.
*I don't understand what the first line of the conclusion means, can you explain me?

    Kisses!!
